Purpose

As a part of the broader Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, Cosmopack is the premier international trade show dedicated to the entire cosmetics production chain. Its primary goals included:

  1. Sourcing and Networking: Connecting beauty brands (from startups to giants) with the suppliers who provide the "ingredients" and "bones" of their products.
  2. Showcasing the Supply Chain: The event was segmented into specific zones to cover every step of production:
  3. Ingredients & Raw Materials: New functional actives and fragrances.
  4. Contract Manufacturing: Private label and turnkey production services.
  5. Primary & Secondary Packaging: Innovative bottles, tubes, and sustainable materials.
  6. Machinery & Automation: Industrial-scale filling, labeling, and robotic packaging solutions.
  7. Innovation & Technology: A major theme for 2024 was sustainability and precision, featuring "The Ingredients Zone" and the "CosmoFactory" project, which demonstrated a live, end-to-end production process on the show floor.
  8. Market Strategy: Providing a platform for industry experts to discuss global trends, regulatory changes, and new consumer demands through the CosmoTalks sessions.
