This event will take place at BolognaFiere Exhibition Centre in Bologna, Italy.

Purpose

The 2023 edition focused on synergy, traceability, and the "backstage" of beauty. Its main objectives were:

1. The Ingredients Revolution: A major addition for 2023 was the "Ingredients Zone" (Hall 20). This area was specifically created for producers and distributors of raw materials, essential oils, and active ingredients to meet directly with R&D managers and contract manufacturers.
2. Technological Traceability: The theme of the Cosmopack Factory (a live production line on the show floor) was "Track & Trace." It demonstrated how every step of a product's life cycle—from the origin of the raw material to the final consumer purchase—could be monitored for safety and transparency.
3. B2B Networking: Using the "Cosmoprof My Match" digital platform, the event aimed to facilitate high-value meetings between over 2,900 exhibiting companies and thousands of global buyers.
4. Sustainability & Eco-Design: Much of the 2023 show focused on "upcycled" ingredients (e.g., beauty products made from coffee waste) and packaging materials that reduced the carbon footprint.
